Classes
Four ways to arrive
Every class is suitable for beginners. Teachers offer options for every pose, and nobody minds if you spend the hour in child’s pose.
-
Slow Flow
Unhurried vinyasa that links breath and movement. Warming, steady, never rushed — a good first class.
-
Yin
Long, supported floor poses held for three to five minutes to soften connective tissue and settle the nervous system.
-
Restorative
Bolsters, blankets and eye pillows. Five or six deeply supported shapes and a long guided rest. Bliss on a Sunday.
-
Morning Mobility
A brisk 45 minutes before work: joints, spine and hips, finishing with five minutes of breath. Coffee afterward.
Signature
Breathwork Circle
A guided 60-minute session of conscious breathing, lying down, with live cello on Friday evenings. We work with slow, extended exhales to downshift the nervous system — no hyperventilation, no forcing.

Your first visit
Nervous? Most people are.
Message us or just turn up
Drop-ins are welcome if there’s space. Arrive 10–15 minutes early so we can say hello and ask about any injuries.
Wear something comfortable
Soft clothes you can move in. We practice barefoot. Changing rooms, showers and lockers are on the left as you come in.
Take whatever you need
Mats, blocks, bolsters and blankets are laid out by the door. The teacher will show you what to grab for each class.
Stay for tea
After class there is always a pot of herbal tea on the bench. No rush to leave.
I’ve never done yoga. Which class should I pick?
Thursday’s Beginners Flow or any Restorative class. Our four-week Beginners Course starts on the first Monday of each month (4 × 75 min, $120).
Is breathwork safe for everyone?
Our breathwork is slow and gentle, but please let Marcus know before class if you are pregnant, have epilepsy, heart conditions or a history of panic attacks.
Is the studio accessible?
There is a lift to the 2nd floor and one step into the studio, with a ramp available. Bike parking is in the back courtyard; the Carroll Street F/G subway station is a four-minute walk.
